2024 Chevrolet Trax
Since its debut, the Chevrolet Trax has been a driver favorite thanks to its lively performance, rugged capabilities, and stylish design. For the 2024 model year, the Trax returns with a bigger, bolder design while still delivering the capable and confident handling drivers know and love. You also get the innovative amenities and cutting-edge safety features you expect from a Chevrolet vehicle. After you take a ride in the 2024 Trax, you won't want to drive anything else.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The first thing you'll notice about the 2024 Trax is that it's longer and wider than previous versions, giving it a sleeker, more assertive silhouette. The LS trim features 17-inch steel wheels, while the 1RS has machine-faced two-tone wheels measuring 18 inches, RS decals, and black Chevy bow ties. On the LT, you'll find 17-inch two-tone wheels, and this trim features a remote start system. The 2RS sits atop 19-inch wheels, and the ACTIV gets black aluminum wheels measuring 18 inches. This top trim also has a Titanium-accented grille and ACTIV decals. Exterior color options include Cacti Green, Harvest Bronze, and Cayenne Orange.
Engine (Power)
Every 2024 Trax comes equipped with a 137-horsepower, 1.2-liter EcoTec Turbo engine that generates 162 pound-feet of torque. The robust engine features state-of-the-art fuel-saving technology to help the Trax get up to 28 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Adding an available engine block heater helps the engine start when it's cold outside and heats the engine and engine block fluids.
Performance
Chevrolet pairs the EcoTec Turbo engine with a six-speed automatic transmission to boost response and efficiency while ensuring you enjoy seamless acceleration every time you drive the 2024 Trax. A nimble front-wheel-drive system and a sporty exterior design give the Trax exceptional agility for maneuvering through traffic and taking tight turns. Wherever you go, you'll appreciate how the Trax's MacPherson strut front suspension and compound crank rear suspension minimize noise and impact to make your ride smoother and more comfortable.
Interior
Inside the 2024 Trax, you'll find seating for five, with the LS featuring a smartphone-compatible touch-screen display measuring 8 inches and active noise cancellation. The 1RS features red interior accents, and the LT has an 11-inch touch-screen, a driver information center measuring 8 inches, and automatic temperature controls. The 2RS and ACTIV trims add front seats with heating and a heated steering wheel. Every Trax provides 54.1 cubic feet of cargo space when you fold the rear seats.
Safety Features
You'll drive the 2024 Chevrolet Trax with peace of mind thanks to a forward-collision alert that warns you when it detects an impending collision with a pedestrian or vehicle. The system can apply the brakes if you can't respond to its alerts in time. A lane-keep assist system helps prevent unintentional drifting, and adaptive cruise control assists with keeping a safe following distance. When you're trying to change lanes, the lane-change alert will let you know if a car is blocking your path. The 2024 Trax also offers a following distance indicator, IntelliBeam high-beam assist, and a rear cross-traffic monitor.
