The second row is where the school run is won or lost 41.5 inches of second-row leg room and 62.0 inches of shoulder room is what makes three across workable on the days it has to be, and comfortable for two adults on a Saturday drive. Shoulder room is the same in the second row as the front, which is not true of every vehicle in this class. On the Denali and Denali Ultimate the second-row seats fold at one touch and the third row folds under power. That sounds like a luxury feature and is really a logistics one: it decides whether a seven-year-old loads themselves while it is raining, or whether you get out of the car. The honest answer for anyone moving up from a compact SUV is that the Acadia is about a foot and a half longer, at 203.96 inches. Width is the same as most of the class at 87.9 inches with the mirrors out, so a two-car bay is fine and a single-car bay wants the mirrors folded. Teen Driver is standard too, which matters sooner than you think if there is a fourteen-year-old in the second row today. Up to 10 camera views are available, and nine come on the Elevation.
