About the 2027 GMC Acadia

The Acadia is GMC's mid-size three-row SUV, sold above the two-row Terrain and below the full-size Yukon. It is 203.96 inches long on a 120.9-inch wheelbase, which makes it a genuine three-row family car that still parks in an ordinary bay. That is the practical reason most buyers here land on it rather than stepping all the way up.

Four trims share one powertrain. The Elevation at $43,600 is the volume car and the only one that seats eight. The AT4 at $52,400 is the only trim with Active Torque Control all-wheel drive as standard, and it adds a lifted ride height, an off-road tuned suspension, steel skid plates and all-terrain tires. The Denali at $58,900 is where Super Cruise became standard equipment for 2027. The Denali Ultimate at $63,400 tops the range with full-leather massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof and the Bose 16-Speaker Performance Series system.

Two things about this model year are worth knowing before you shop. Super Cruise moved down a rung and is now standard on the Denali as well as the Denali Ultimate, which changes the value calculation for anyone who drives to Little Rock or Texarkana with any regularity. And the Trailering Package that achieves the 5,000-lb rating is standard on every trim rather than an option, a distinction that matters on the first Saturday you take a boat to the lake.
