The 2026 GMC Canyon is a mid-size pickup sold in four trims, from the $38,900 Elevation to the $57,300 AT4X, both excluding a $2,095 destination charge. There is one engine and one gearbox: the 2.7L TurboMax turbocharged four-cylinder making 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic. There is one body, a Crew Cab with a five-foot bed and five seats. Properly equipped on the conventional hitch, a Crew Cab Elevation, AT4 or Denali tows up to 7,700 lbs. The headline feature is the one nobody advertises: every Canyon, including the base trim, leaves Wentzville with a 2-inch factory lift and a widened track.
