1. Northwoods Mullet Run and Beaver Bash

Join the fun on the Northwoods Trails down the annual Northwoods Mullet Run and at the Beaver Bash “Party In The Back” on April 22 at 10:00 at Cedar Glades Park at 461 Wildcat Road in Hot Springs. Hit the trails on the 10k and 25k Mullet Run routes, and afterward, enjoy the country’s only craft beer brewed in a national park with water from the hot springs.

The event will have live music and awards for the best mullets and fullets (fake mullets). We know the craft beer is awesome, but please, don’t drink if you’re underage, drink carefully and responsibly, and don’t drink and drive to ensure you and your crew get home safely.

2. Arts in the Park

The annual ten-day Arts in the Park festival, hosted by the Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance, celebrates the area’s arts and crafts. Arts in the Park kicks off on April 28 and will continue until May 7 at various indoor and outdoor locations around town.

Look forward to live performances, theatre shows, art exhibitions, demonstrations, artist talks, studio tours, workshops, and culinary events. The program for Arts in the Park is in the April issue of The Springs Magazine.

3. Magic Springs Theme and Water Park Opening Day

Celebrate spring at the splashiest spot in town! Magic Springs Theme and Water Park at 1701 East Grand Avenue opens its doors for the season with a big bash on May 6.

Gather your tribe, put on your swimsuits, and have a whale of a time in the wave pool, shooting down the High Sierra Slide Tower, tubing down the adventure river, and splashing around on the Island. There are loads of thrill rides, family rides, and kids’ rides that everyone will enjoy, from Grandpa Joe to little Sarah.
