About the 2027 GMC Terrain

The 2027 GMC Terrain is a two-row compact SUV seating five, priced from $30,400 for the Elevation to $42,200 for the Denali, with the AT4 at $39,100 between them, each excluding a $1,995 destination charge. One engine serves the whole lineup: a 1.5L Turbo four-cylinder rated at 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft. Every trim carries the 15-inch Premium GMC Infotainment System with Google built-in, an 11-inch Driver Information Center, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Cargo runs 29.8 cubic feet behind the second row and 63.5 cubic feet folded, and trailering reaches 1,500 lbs on a conventional ball hitch when properly equipped. Allen Tillery Buick GMC stocks it in Hot Springs and delivers along Highway 70 and Interstate 30 to Benton, Bryant, Malvern, Arkadelphia and Hope.

The change worth knowing for 2027 is the gearbox: the 8-speed automatic now serves front-wheel-drive Terrains as well as all-wheel-drive ones, so the whole lineup shares one transmission. Above the Elevation the lineup splits rather than climbs, with the AT4 taking a lifted ride height, a front skid plate with a steel underbody shield and all-terrain tires, and the Denali taking ventilated leather-appointed front seats, heated rear outboard seats and standard HD Surround Vision. Ice, not snow, is what closes roads in this part of the state, which is why so many leave here with all-wheel drive.

Start where your question is. Weighing trims? Open the trims comparison. Wondering whether it fits your garage or your load? Specs and Cargo answer those with figures. Cross-shopping the Chevy Equinox or wondering whether you need the bigger Acadia instead? Both comparisons are written to send you to the right one rather than to ours.
