Since it first rolled off the production line back in 2021, the Chevrolet Trailblazer has become one of the most popular subcompact crossover SUVs in the USA. Over the last few years, Chevrolet has tweaked and tuned the Trailblazer to ensure it retains its level of popularity in an ever-changing world. Now, there’s a new 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and it comes with a suite of features that keep it firmly above the competition.

Modern Safety Features

We are living in an exciting time when it comes to technological solutions to driving problems, and Chevrolet is one of the leaders in this field. With a ton of interesting safety features and driver-assist technologies, the new Trailblazer is one of the most futuristic subcompact crossover SUVs on the market today.

The suite of new technologies in the Chevrolet Trailblazer includes a lane-changing assist system that detects other vehicles in your blind spot; a lane-keeping system that detects when you are straying out of your lane and keeps you centered; front collision detection with automatic emergency braking; and adaptive cruise-control which detects the speed of the vehicle in front of you and alters your speed to avoid any collisions.

Teen Driver Technology

On top of the new tech that’s designed to make driving safer and easier for you, the new Trailblazer also comes with Teen Driver Technology that helps to keep your children safe on the road. The features of this technology include a volume limiter to stop loud, distracting music; speed warnings; and even a speed limiter that ensures your teenager doesn’t travel at speeds exceeding 85 mph.

Studies show that 61% of teenagers don’t wear a seat belt when they have a passenger, and so, to try and tackle this, the Trailblazer will refuse to shift out of parking gear until everyone in the car is wearing their seat belt. This system also comes with an option that mutes the audio in the car until all seat belts are buckled.

Excellent On or Off the Road

If you opt for the ACTIV trim, you’ll have access to a 1.3L turbo engine, sport terrain tires, and a suspension that has been optimized for off-roading, meaning you can tackle any terrain without any major issues.

The new Chevrolet Trailblazer is definitely shaping up to be one of the year’s best subcompact crossover SUVs. From its suite of modern safety features and driver-assist technology to its excellent off-road capabilities, there are so many reasons to love this new range.
