Engine Performance

In addition to being able to tow up to 8,400 pounds when fully equipped, the 2023 Yukon has plenty of performance options available. The base engine, a 5.3-liter V8, generates 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque.

The strongest engine, a 6.2-liter V8, delivers 420 horses with 460 pound-feet of torque, while a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 is also available and offers 277 horses alongside 460 pound-feet of torque.

Off-Road Capabilities

While driving off-road, the available Active Response 4WD system delivers an optimal amount of torque to each wheel for enhanced traction, while the Traction Select System offers different modes to tackle changing terrains at a moment’s notice.

Rough trails are softened by the Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension system, which can adjust itself automatically to changing terrain conditions while raising the vehicle’s ground clearance by up to two feet.

Interior and Exterior

The interior of this vehicle is a classy one, with heated and ventilated front seats available, as well as heated second-row outboard seats and a heated steering wheel. Stylish color scheme options, like Jet Black and Dark Walnut/Slate, give the cabin a luxurious appearance, as does the pivoting wood door that covers the center console and the fractal stitching found on the seats.

New exterior colors for this edition include Frosted Pine Metallic, Titanium Rush Metallic, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat. There are also plenty of distinctive wheel styles and sizes available, such as the 18-inch Dark Gray Metallic wheels that come standard on SLE models and the 22-inch wheels with premium paint that are available for the Denali trim.

Safety and Technology

For all your entertainment needs and navigational assistance, there’s the GMC Infotainment System, which comes with a 10.2-inch split-screen display. Super Cruise is a hands-free driver-assist feature that can pull a trailer, make automatic lane changes, and maintain your preferred speed while on highways.

Hill Descent Control can be activated with the push of a button to keep the vehicle at a low speed while traversing down steep slopes, while Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Change Alert, and Forward Collision Alert can all warn you whenever you’re at risk of a possible collision.

The 2023 Yukon sets a new standard among SUVs with trail-conquering off-road features, a stylish design, and intuitive tech features. We might be biased, but we think Hot Springs is one of the best places to live in all of Arkansas. This town is known for its beautiful bathhouses and thermal pools. With Lake Hamilton to the south and Hot Springs National Park to the north, there is plenty of natural beauty all around. There is also plenty of ice cream to be found nearby. Here are our favorite places to grab a scoop in Hot Springs, AR.

Scoops

This shop prides itself on its homemade sundaes. “Yes… we really make it here” is painted on the wall, just to make sure you don’t forget. With over 20 different flavors, everyone will be able to find their favorite. The most unique menu item may be their spicy Mexican chocolate sundae.

It’s made with your choice of flavor and then loaded up with spicy Mexican chocolate sauce, pecans, a chocolate sprinkle-dipped cookie, and of course, a cherry on top.

Smallcakes

This bakery is known for its cupcakes, but they also offer small-batch frozen desserts and milkshakes. To get the best of both worlds, order the cupcake smash. This is a cup of frozen deliciousness with a cupcake on top. You can pick your favorite flavors for each, but our favorite combination is 2 scoops of chocolate with a peanut butter cup cupcake on top.

King Kone

King Kone is a drive-in burger joint with some of the best soft serve in town. They have also won awards for their old-fashioned burgers. There is so much to choose from here, it can be hard to pick just one dish off the menu. Of course, you can’t go wrong with a classic burger or try one of their footlong hot dogs. For a true Arkansas experience, get the catfish basket, served with hushpuppies and fries.

And don’t forget about dessert! King Kone has just as many options when it comes to the end-of-the-meal treats. Some stand-out options from their menu include a banana split, homemade nutty buddy, brownie delight, and cookie dough delight. Or, if you just want a simple sundae, you can order it in a waffle cone, a waffle bowl, or a dip cone.
